Orlando Attractions Magazine is the only magazine available that covers all of the Orlando area theme parks, tourist attractions, restaurants and more with news, in-depth feature articles, attention-grabbing photos, updates and interviews. Other local "coupon magazines" are nothing more than ads, coupons and press releases. Each issue of Orlando Attractions Magazine will give readers insight into their favorite happenings at the major theme parks, as well as attractions on International Drive, U.S. Highway 192 and other tourists areas.

Why Orlando?
If you're going to have a magazine covering theme parks and tourist attractions, there's no better place than Orlando. Also known as the theme park capital of the world, Central Florida is home to seven major theme parks (with two more within an hour's drive) and four major water parks.

Approximately 50 million visitors make the trip to Orlando each year. Roughly 46.5 million of those guests are domestic visitors and 3.5 million are international visitors. There are more than 5,300 restaurants in the area, many of which are attractions unto themselves. Orlando is consistently ranked number one among all vacation destinations in the world.

How It All Started
Orlando Attractions Magazine is the brainchild of two of the biggest fans of Orlando theme parks. Both have been visiting Orlando and its various theme parks for longer than they can remember and love the parks so much that they moved their families here.

Creative Director Ricky Brigante has been the host of his own Internet radio program, or podcast, since mid-2005. His award-winning Inside The Magic podcast is released every Sunday and covers all of the latest news out of the Walt Disney World Resort. As one of the most listened-to Disney podcasts, his show is downloaded and heard by as many as 17,000 listeners a week. Ricky is a self-taught graphic artist who has been dabbling in Photoshop since he was just a teenager. His love of theme parks reaches all the way back to his frequent family trips to Walt Disney World from his hometown of Miami.

Editor-in-Chief Matt Roseboom has more than 14 years of publication experience, including five years as owner and editor of a weekly community newspaper in Marco Island, Florida called the Marco Island Sun Times. While living on Marco Island, he and his family made the three-hour trip to Orlando whenever they could spare the time. In 2006 an opportunity presented itself and Matt sold the newspaper and moved to Orlando.

Matt had been a fan of Ricky's podcast and ultimately the two started chatting about ways to turn their love of theme parks into a business. With Matt's publishing background and Ricky's graphic design skills in mind, they decided to start a new publication. After looking at the market and finding there is no regular publication specifically covering the theme park capital of the world, Orlando Attractions Magazine was created.

Our Readers
People of all ages come from all over the world to Orlando to live out their dreams. There's so much to do in Orlando, visitors need an unbiased guide to all of the fun.
